Role overview
The Human Resources Business Partner works with business leaders to shape talent policies, engagement efforts, and lifecycle programs that align with business objectives and talent strategy. This hybrid position requires three days per week in the Duluth, GA office.
Responsibilities
- Assist business leaders with retaining and developing talent within their designated population
- Lead HR programs across employee groups
- Provide the business unit with cost parameters for hiring, training, and retaining top talent
- Participate in setting department goals and objectives
- Develop new job descriptions with managers and amend existing ones to reflect business needs and for clarity in recruitment and talent development, including FLMA status; assist managers with mitigating conflicts
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations by advising managers and employees on daily operations
- Partner with Centers of Excellence for HR analytics, technology, and career development opportunities
- Monitor business and talent metrics using KPIs and present relevant data to leaders
- Administer and guide the performance evaluation program
- Advise on employee relations matters, progressive discipline, and documentation; manage cases from start to finish with appropriate escalation
- Educate and support management on employee relations and performance issues
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and sustain the organization's culture and related initiatives
- Promote positive employee relationships through clear communication and interpretation of HR policies
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years in an HRBP or HR Generalist role
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer service for internal stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and the ability to learn and work with software systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to challenges
- Commitment to learning and adapting to the EPIC Way, applying knowledge to support the business
Compensation
The base pay will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
