The Human Resources Generalist position is an on-site role in Franklin Springs, GA. The role manages day-to-day HR operations and supports recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and development, working both independently and with teams to foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, payroll and benefits inquiries, leaves of absence, immigration and mobility, and providing guidance on HR-related issues.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee relations matters, mediating conflicts, and implementing solutions.
- Assist in conducting investigations and resolving employee complaints in alignment with company policies.
- Oversee HR operations across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Promote, manage, and maintain employee relations programs and drive engagement.
- Partner with benefits consultants to resolve claims and coverage issues.
- Support the performance management process by assisting with reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related issues and documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Coordinate and deliver employee training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and work with managers to develop and implement development plans.
- Maintain training records and track progress.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with report generation, maintenance, and distribution.
- In partnership with the HR team, draft, maintain, and update all HR policies to ensure compliance.
- Communicate and inform key stakeholders of legislative changes and support implementation as required.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and enhancing employee engagement.
- Support HR functional teams in planning, implementing, executing, and rollout of HR programs and processes.
- Assist with local event planning and recognition programs.
- Provide support to the HR team and other departments as needed.
