Job Description

The Republic of Tea is hiring a people-focused Human Resources Business Partner to support day-to-day HR and talent programs for the organization. This onsite role in Nashville, IL partners closely with leaders and employees to advance company goals through strong employee relations, recruiting, and HR operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

With a salary of USD 70,000 per year and a minimum of 3 years of progressive human resources experience, you will help strengthen workplace culture while supporting areas including talent acquisition, engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR reporting.

What you’ll do

Partner with leaders and employees to support HR initiatives aligned with business needs and company goals.
Support organizational growth and change efforts while helping sustain a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
Guide managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and employee concerns.
Manage full-cycle recruitment to attract and retain qualified talent.
Support onboarding, orientation, engagement activities, and offboarding processes.
Coordinate training and employee development initiatives that support both individual growth and organizational needs.
Provide coaching related to performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
Promote employee engagement through wellness programs, recognition initiatives, learning opportunities, and company events.
Contribute to a positive work environment through effective communication and relationship-building.
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist with leave administration and employee benefit questions involving FMLA, disability, COBRA, EAP, and 401(k) programs.
Maintain HRIS records and ensure reporting, data accuracy, and process improvements.
Assist with compensation reviews, reporting, and annual pay analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles.
Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with HRIS systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel occasionally between company locations and remote sites.

Preferred
