At the University of Mississippi, the Human Resources Business Partner serves as the strategic HR partner for academic, research, and administrative client groups. This role delivers HR solutions aligned with the university’s mission and goals while fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, and researchers. The position is onsite at the University of Mississippi campus in University, Mississippi.
Responsibilities
- Offers HR consultation and support to a designated business unit to shape and implement HR strategies that help achieve business objectives.
- Develops workforce plans and monitors external market trends and industry issues that could affect the university.
- Leads organizational assessments to translate strategies into concrete, action-oriented steps.
- Applies knowledge of various HR functions to provide tactical support to line managers.
- Acts as liaison with other HR functions.
- Provides change management leadership as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Substitution: An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered (1:1 substitution).

Compensation
Salary range: $68,681.60 – $103,001.60 per year
