In this hybrid role with AAA The Auto Club Group, the Talent Acquisition Consultant-Sales joins the Talent Acquisition team as a strategic recruiting partner. You will own full-cycle recruiting for specialized professional and sales roles, with a strong focus on identifying, converting, and closing passive talent while partnering closely with sales leadership on workforce needs and market insights.
Working in a Monday to Friday schedule (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM), you will bring a sales-minded approach to hiring operations, using recruiting metrics and pipeline activity to continuously refine search strategy and improve outcomes across the candidate experience.
What you’ll do
- Own the full sales recruiting lifecycle, including building targeted sourcing strategies, engaging passive candidates, coordinating interviews, executing offers, and supporting onboarding
- Serve as a consultative talent advisor to sales leaders by sharing market trends, talent availability, compensation insights, and sourcing recommendations to support hiring decisions
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, align on search strategy, set expectations, and create a candidate experience that matches the pace and professionalism of a sales environment
- Lead the offer process with a sales-focused approach, collaborating on salary analysis, presenting competitive proposals, negotiating effectively, and closing top talent
- Use recruiting data, conversion metrics, market feedback, and pipeline activity to identify improvement opportunities and adjust strategies
- Build and nurture high-performing sales talent pipelines through proactive outreach, relationship-based sourcing, networking, and ongoing engagement before roles open
- Maintain collaborative, customer-focused partnerships with hiring managers, HR partners, and business stakeholders to keep searches aligned, transparent, and moving forward
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and pipeline activity to support compliance, data integrity, reporting, and a seamless experience for candidates and internal partners
- Contribute to recruiting initiatives and business projects that improve sales hiring effectiveness, strengthen processes, and support broader talent acquisition goals
- Continue expanding your sales talent network and recruiting expertise to stay connected to the market and elevate the recruiting partnership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of experience working through the full-cycle recruiting process
- Deep understanding of talent market trends, competitive intelligence, and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
- Proven record of sourcing, assessing, and closing candidates across a range of functions and levels
- Ability to manage requisition load and adapt to changing business needs on short notice
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and leadership to develop and execute recruiting strategies
- Use of recruiting metrics and data to inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive sales candidates, managing full-cycle recruitment for quota-carrying roles, and building pipelines aligned to hiring goals
- Experience using Workday, Indeed Sourcing, and LinkedIn Recruiter

Compensation and work details
- Salary: USD 95,000–110,000 per year
- Location: Michigan (hybrid)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
The position is currently able to work remotely from a home office for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building is specified by leadership. This arrangement is subject to change based on amendments or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.

A geographic pay differential is used as part of the base salary program, and salary at the time of offer is determined based on these and other factors associated with the job and job level.
