Job Description

This Talent Acquisition Recruiter role supports a fast-growing, family-owned home remodeling business by owning full-cycle recruiting across four markets. You will run sourcing, screening, scheduling, and hiring performance reporting from the team’s on-site headquarters in Canoga Park, California.

Role Overview

Reporting to the VP of Growth, you will execute recruiting end to end with recruiting execution handled by the role owner. The position is based onsite at the Canoga Park headquarters and is not remote or hybrid. HR supports with paperwork and onboarding, while recruiting ownership stays with you.

Key Responsibilities

Fill sales training cohorts in each market and maintain a steady pipeline of canvassers based on location needs.
Recruit roles across the business as each location requires coverage, including project managers, office admins, and confirmation agents.
Manage Indeed accounts end to end, including ad copy, budget, performance, and applicant flow.
Develop and run recruiting channels beyond Indeed, including college job boards, job fairs, veterans outreach, social media job ads, and referrals.
Conduct phone screens personally and advance candidates who are interview-ready for sales managers, not merely résumé matches.
Track candidates through a recruiting funnel: scheduled → showed → offered → started → still here at 30 days.
Own the weekly recruiting report for leadership, manage the recruiting budget per location, and maintain the tracking system that supports reporting.

Required Experience and Qualifications

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
Proven recruiting experience with commission-based salespeople, including experience recruiting for in-home sales, door-to-door, solar, pest, alarms, roofing, HVAC, or similar sales roles, and car sales.
Ability to assess what a strong representative looks like during a 10-minute phone call.
High-volume, hands-on recruiting style with a preference for phone-based outreach over résumé forwarding.
Comfort working with a system including Indeed, outbound messaging, and follow-up discipline.
Capacity to run four markets at once while producing clean weekly metrics.
Comfort in a fast, informal, family-run environment where decisions move quickly and you can push back when processes are not working.

Preferred Experience

Remodeling experience (2 years preferred).
Recruiting experience (2 years required and 2 years listed as required in the experience section).
B2B sales experience (2 years preferred).

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday.
