Job Description

GXO Logistics is seeking a Human Resource Manager for the first shift at our Cowpens, South Carolina site. This onsite role oversees HR programs, guides employee relations, and manages department operations to support an engaged workforce and compliant practices. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience and at least five years of HR management experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee the administration and enforcement of HR policies and programs to ensure compliance across staffing, recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, compensation, timekeeping, and personnel records management.
Collaborate with plant operations and the HR team to maintain an open and approachable environment.
Align employee and business strategies to deliver excellent customer service.
Manage all aspects of the HR function, including administration, legal compliance, policy and procedure enforcement, benefits, compensation, hiring, retention, and termination.
Lead the HR staff and guide day-to-day operations of the department.
Keep senior management and operations informed of internal and external HR developments that may affect overall effectiveness.
Provide HR reports to upper management as requested.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
5 years of HR management experience
Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and timekeeping systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
A proven track record with increasing levels of responsibility in the HR field
