Better Home Care LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director and Senior HR Manager to lead HR operations onsite in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania. This role functions as a strategic partner to executive leadership, shaping workforce strategy, culture, employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth within a home healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth initiatives
- Collaborate with executive leadership on workforce planning and talent management
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives
- Assess and improve HR processes, systems, and employee experience
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding programs
- Create strategies to attract, hire, and retain healthcare and administrative talent
- Support leadership succession planning and employee development initiatives
- Implement performance management and career growth programs
- Serve as the primary resource for employee relations, including guidance on performance, disciplinary, and workplace issues
- Conduct investigations related to employee relations matters and provide direction as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific employment regulations
- Reduce employment-related risk through proactive policy development and training
- Oversee payroll administration and reporting
- Use Paychex Flex to support payroll and HR workflows
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and compliance documentation
- Analyze workforce metrics and recommend actions to leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and develop HR staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Partner with department leaders to strengthen management effectiveness and employee engagement
Required Qualifications
- Proven HR leadership experience within a Home Health Agency
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and healthcare workforce regulations
- Hands-on experience with Paychex Flex payroll administration
- Demonstrated success in recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and retention initiatives
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Industry Requirement
Candidates must have direct Human Resources leadership experience within a Home Health Agency. Experience limited to nursing homes, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, physician practices, hospitals, or hospice organizations will not fully meet the qualifications for this role, due to the unique regulatory, accreditation, and workforce requirements of home health care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Experience supporting rapid organizational growth
- Experience developing workforce retention and employee engagement programs
- Healthcare multi-site workforce management experience
About the Role
This onsite position supports the HR function across workforce strategy, compliance, employee relations, and talent operations. The successful candidate will balance regulatory responsibilities with employee engagement and organizational objectives.
