Based onsite in Houston, Pennsylvania, the Human Resources Coordinator at Dashiell provides administrative and operational support across human resources functions, reporting to the HR Manager. The role encompasses onboarding, records management, benefits administration, leave programs, compliance, and HR reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead new hire orientations, handling paperwork and coordinating orientation activities.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records in HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR matters; escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR staff.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, terminations, and responding to employee questions.
- Support the administration of leave programs (FMLA, LOA) in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and process HR-related documentation, including employment verifications, status changes, and separation paperwork.
- Support compliance efforts by maintaining required postings, tracking training completions, and assisting with audit preparation.
- Assist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR-sponsored events.
- Generate standard HR reports and metrics to support departmental reporting needs.
- Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience (4 years) will be considered in lieu of the degree.
