Support Georgia Tech’s HR operations through administrative coordination and policy execution.
Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate process of hiring requests from unit management.
- Coordinate activities associated with employee on-boarding and orientation; May assist with recruitment efforts and selection process.
- Respond to inquiries regarding Institute and departmental HR policies and procedures; make referrals when appropriate.
- Review and recommend revision to unit level HR processes as appropriate.
- Maintain employees' record maintenance and transactions including salary, job, termination and other related changes.
- Gather and coordinate dissemination of information regarding new or revised HR related policies and procedures within unit.
- Initiate and/or process HR-related documentation (hiring packages, posting requests, schedules and reports, etc.).
- Serve as a unit-level contact for HR-related processes and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience.
- This job requires a working knowledge of institutional human resources policies and procedures as applied at the unit level as well as related regulations.
- Interpersonal skills and spoken and written communications skills are required as is use of office and HR specialized computer applications.

Anticipated Hourly Rate
Anticipated hourly rate $23.70 to $34.22 commensurate with qualifications.
