Job Description

Onsite role in Lorena, TX, supporting the HR team with benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, compliance, and employee inquiries.

Responsibilities

Benefits administration: ensure benefit enrollments in the carrier system are accurate and monthly billing statements are correct
Enter benefit deductions in the payroll system at the proper time
Address 401(k) inquiries related to plan changes and enrollments
Initiate open enrollment notices
Respond to employment verifications
Onboard and offboard employees
Assist in compliance with HR and employment laws
Administer company policies and procedures
Assist with responses to unemployment claims
Respond to inquiries from employees and supervisors
Maintain employee files
Data entry and filing
Manage the On the Job Training program (OJT Trainees): file reports, identify new trainees, and collaborate with supervisors
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

1+ years of Human Resources experience
Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA and related federal and state laws
Excellent computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent organizational abilities
Strong customer service mindset with clear communication skills
Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Bilingual — English and Spanish required
