In the VP of People Operations role, you will report to the CEO and steer strategy and execution for people operations across four Utah clinic locations and a sister lab. You will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, performance management, compensation, and HR systems while leading culture and workforce planning to scale the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all people operations functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, performance management, compensation, and compliance across our Utah clinics and the lab.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team on organizational planning, strategic initiatives, and operational execution.
- Partner with department heads across clinical and business operations to understand workforce needs and craft tailored people strategies.
- Act as a culture champion by engaging with staff at Layton, Bountiful, Murray, Lehi, and the lab to foster authentic relationships and a sense of support and engagement.
- Design and implement scalable HR systems and processes to support a growing, multi-location organization.
- Lead workforce planning and succession initiatives to ensure the right people are in the right roles as we expand.
- Drive employee relations with empathy, consistency, and sound judgment.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressive HR or people operations experience with a proven trajectory of increasing responsibility.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in a senior HR or people operations leadership role, ideally in a multi-location setting.
- Healthcare operations background, particularly dental or medical, is highly preferred to understand clinical staff alongside business teams.
- Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on when needed.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and bring out the best in people.
- Comfort with a hybrid work schedule and regular travel to Utah clinic locations.
- Experience managing HR for teams of 75+ employees.
- Thrives in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment; capacity to evolve with expanding clinic footprints and state expansion.

Work arrangement
Hybrid setup combining remote work with on-site time at our Utah locations, from Layton to Lehi, plus our lab and headquarters in Midvale. Regular site visits to clinics are expected and encouraged.
