As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will serve as a business partner to hiring managers and business leaders, owning recruitment strategy and guiding teams through the full talent acquisition lifecycle. The role focuses on building qualified and diverse candidate pipelines and representing the hospital throughout sourcing, assessment, and hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Advise Hiring Managers during Talent Strategy Discussions and across the recruitment lifecycle, accounting for changing market conditions.
- Partner with senior leadership to prioritize recruitment needs during periods of high volume.
- Manage and drive the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, telephone interviews, coordination of the interview process, hiring-team debriefs, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers.
- Support managers with hiring decisions and negotiations, helping ensure internal and external market equity.
- Recommend outreach events and recruitment tools, and participate in recruitment-related events connected to Workforce Development and University Relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- 2+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate while providing recruitment counsel and advice.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, multitask, and prioritize work.
- Business acumen and political savvy.
- Demonstrated ability to use talent management and other relevant systems.
- Proven ability to set a talent strategy, including building diverse applicant pipelines.
- Understanding of employment law.
- Demonstrated skill in behaviorally-based interviewing techniques and candidate assessment.
Work Model, Schedule, and Location
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday role with 40 scheduled weekly hours and a day shift schedule (United States of America). The position is hybrid: primarily remote, with required availability to attend meetings at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA as needed. On remote workdays, you must use a stable, secure, and compliant workstation in a quiet environment. Teams Video is required and must be accessed using MGB-provided equipment.
