Job Description

Arbor Associates is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator in Southborough, MA, operating in a hybrid work environment. The role emphasizes onboarding, compliance, and HR operations, with exposure to Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Workforce Development. The position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $58,000 annually and requires at least two years of experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support onboarding and orientation, delivering a welcoming and professional new hire experience
Maintain compliance with background checks, certifications, and HR documentation
Create and manage accurate, organized employee records and files
Facilitate pre-hire training and ensure clear communication of expectations
Act as a key point of contact for new hires, providing excellent customer service
Assist with Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment claims, coordinating with carriers and employees
Contribute to a fast-moving HR team by managing multiple priorities and projects

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related business function
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred)
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus
A proactive, “can-do” mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine desire to learn, grow, and advance within the HR field

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in a collaborative office setting. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a hybrid arrangement that includes remote work on Mondays and Thursdays and in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in Southborough, with flexibility as needed to support business demands.
