Trova Advisory Group seeks a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and candidate management in a hybrid Vernon Hills, IL setting. This contract-direct hire role offers a pay range of USD 33 to 36 per hour and emphasizes hands-on sourcing paired with strategic collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end recruiting process, from sourcing and screening to extending offers and onboarding new hires.
- Design and implement creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent across a variety of roles.
- Utilize diverse sourcing channels, including direct outreach, professional associations, social media, talent databases, and networking opportunities.
- Leverage ATS tools, AI-powered search capabilities, and recruiting analytics to enhance candidate identification and engagement.
- Coordinate and manage interview scheduling to ensure a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct background checks and manage pre-employment communications and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs and provide ongoing recruiting support throughout the process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, networking, and candidate assessment.
- Experience supporting recruiting operations, processes, and workflow management.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and sourcing methods, such as job boards, social platforms, talent databases, and web-based search tools.
- Proven ability to identify, engage, and secure qualified candidates in competitive talent markets.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities with a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
