Job Description

Senior Human Resources Generalist at the Lakeside Foods Weston site, focusing on talent strategy, employee and labor relations, compliance, and engagement across the facility.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and new-employee orientation to meet staffing needs across the site.
Collaborate with managers and Corporate HR to assess workforce requirements, coach on effective interviewing, and uphold standardized hiring practices.
Guide performance management processes, administer corrective actions, interpret policies, and support employee development.
Oversee employee relations, conduct investigations, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
Manage benefits administration, leave programs, wellness initiatives, and keep HRIS and personnel records accurate.
Support organizational development activities, including performance reviews, development plans, and succession planning.
Lead labor relations efforts, including handling grievances, interpreting the labor agreement, drafting job postings, and serving on the company bargaining committee.
Coordinate seasonal staffing processes, including migrant labor planning, compliance requirements, and agency relations.
Foster positive relationships across the plant, uphold the organization’s cultural values, and drive employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Minimum of five years in HR roles, with manufacturing experience preferred.
Proven experience in labor relations, including interpreting collective agreements and managing grievances.
Strong knowledge of employment laws including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, and related regulations.
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
