Job Description

Onsite in Rancho Cordova, CA, the Human Resources Coordinator will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management for Road Safety Inc. This role collaborates across teams to ensure compliant and efficient HR processes.

Responsibilities

Support recruitment activities such as posting roles, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and communicating with unions.
Support the full-cycle onboarding process.
Maintain precise employee records in BambooHR, Spectrum, and Airtable, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Provide timely responses to employees and external agencies.
Conduct internal investigations into employee inquiries and resolve issues.
Support leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations processes.
Support benefits administration, including open enrollment.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support performance review cycles and initiatives for employee development.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Maintain the full cycle offboarding process.
Generate HR reports and analyze metrics to inform decision-making.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives.
Assist in creating, implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication to all staff.

Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience in HR or a related role.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with BambooHR, Spectrum, and Airtable is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to interpret and apply state and federal employment laws.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
