Job Description

Contexture is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our Phoenix, AZ team on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive HR support with a core emphasis on talent acquisition and a secondary focus on leave of absence administration, while contributing to compliance, employee relations, and HR operations.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 5,757 - 6,583 per month

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from requisition intake to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and craft accurate job descriptions and hiring strategies.
Develop and sustain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, job boards, social platforms, networking, and community partnerships.
Ensure compliant selection processes aligned with EEO, ADA, OFCCP (where applicable), and state and federal regulations.
Provide a high-quality candidate experience with consistent communication and structured evaluations.
Lead training for hiring managers on interviewing techniques, bias mitigation, and lawful hiring practices.
Coordinate the offer process with Compensation and HR leadership to ensure equitable and competitive salary decisions.
Support onboarding activities, including documentation, pre-employment screenings, and new hire setup.
Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity of the pipeline, and recommend improvements.
Administer leaves including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, parental, military, personal, and other state/local programs.
Manage all leave documentation, notices, certifications, and case tracking to ensure legal compliance.
Conduct or support the interactive process for accommodations and maintain confidential documentation.
Coordinate with Benefits and Payroll regarding pay, benefit continuation, and timekeeping during leave.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on leave requirements, expectations, and return-to-work processes.
Apply knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws across recruitment, leaves, wage and hour, and employee relations.
Support development, maintenance, and communication of HR policies, handbooks, and compliance updates.
Maintain compliance reporting, audit documentation, personnel files, and regulatory postings.
Monitor legislative changes and recommend updates to internal processes to maintain compliance.
Provide guidance on policies, performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
Maintain HRIS accuracy, generate HR reports, and support annual HR cycles such as performance reviews and merit processes.
Contribute to HR initiatives including onboarding enhancements, engagement projects, inclusion efforts, and process optimization.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection using compliant, structured practices.
Working knowledge of employment law across recruitment, leaves, wage and hour, and accommodations.
Understanding of laws related to hiring, leaves, accommodations, EEO, FLSA, and confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to draft notices, candidate communications, and HR documentation.
Ability to build solid partnerships with hiring managers, employees, and candidates.
Skilled at interpreting HR data and identifying trends to inform decision making.
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions, cases, deadlines, and priorities with attention to detail.
Competent in HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office/Excel; comfortable learning new systems.
Ability to assess situations, apply legal and policy guidelines, and escalate appropriately.
Discretion in handling sensitive employee and company information.
Responsive, courteous, and solution-oriented support to internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to identify workflow gaps and recommend enhancements to recruiting and HR processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong emphasis on full-cycle recruitment.
Significant experience administering FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, or other leave processes.
Healthcare or technology industry experience preferred.
Experience supporting multi-state workforces is advantageous.
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms; BambooHR, UKG, or similar systems a plus.

Job Description

Onsite in Rancho Cordova, CA, the Human Resources Coordinator will support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management for Road Safety Inc. This role collaborates across teams to ensure compliant and efficient HR processes.

Responsibilities

Support recruitment activities such as posting roles, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and communicating with unions.
Support the full-cycle onboarding process.
Maintain precise employee records in BambooHR, Spectrum, and Airtable, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Provide timely responses to employees and external agencies.
Conduct internal investigations into employee inquiries and resolve issues.
Support leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations processes.
Support benefits administration, including open enrollment.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support performance review cycles and initiatives for employee development.

Maintain the full cycle offboarding process.

Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience in HR or a related role.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with BambooHR, Spectrum, and Airtable is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to interpret and apply state and federal employment laws.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
