At Aston Carter, a Recruiter II is sought to join a centralized sourcing team focused on Workplace Health & Safety and operational/management roles in Seattle. This contract position emphasizes high-volume sourcing with creative outreach strategies and close collaboration with hiring partners to build strong talent pipelines for both current and future needs.
Responsibilities
- Source and attract qualified candidates for Workplace Health & Safety and operational/management roles within Operations using diverse channels and tools.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, including advanced Boolean search techniques, to build robust pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting technologies to manage requisitions, track candidates, and maintain accurate, compliant records.
- Collaborate with hiring teams and stakeholders to understand role requirements, refine job profiles, and align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Apply extensive experience and judgment to plan and achieve recruiting goals in a high-volume environment.
- Perform a variety of recruiting and sourcing tasks, adapting to shifting priorities and timelines.
- Lead and direct the work of others on the recruiting or sourcing team when needed, providing guidance and support.
- Utilize creativity to identify and engage talent in competitive markets.
- Stay familiar with a wide range of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures to continually improve sourcing effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing roles.
- Proven experience in high-volume recruiting or sourcing environments.
- Strong proficiency with Boolean search techniques and advanced internet sourcing methods.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute creative sourcing strategies.
- Experience in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting, including screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidates and requisitions.
- Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish recruiting goals.
- Capability to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others when required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelorβs degree is typically required, with 5β8 years of experience in recruiting or a related field preferred.
- Experience in technical recruiting or technology-focused environments, which can enhance sourcing effectiveness.
- Experience recruiting for operational, management, or Workplace Health and Safety roles.
- High level of creativity in identifying and engaging passive candidates.
- Comfort working with a wide degree of autonomy and latitude in decision-making.
