Human Resource/Safety Manager

Palmetto Brick Company is seeking an experienced Human Resource and Safety Manager in Wallace, SC to oversee core people initiatives alongside safety program management. The role partners with leadership to strengthen workplace culture, support day-to-day compliance, and improve HR and safety outcomes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and employee training activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HR requirements and OSHA regulations.
• Manage safety programs and support continuous improvement efforts to enhance workplace safety performance.
• Coach managers and support employee development through ongoing guidance and communication.
• Oversee workers' compensation administration and maintain HR compliance processes.
• Support initiatives that build and sustain a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of HR leadership experience.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law and OSHA requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication capabilities.
• A self-starter who is motivated to make a meaningful impact.
