Job Description

This onsite HR Generalist role supports recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, employee records management, compliance tracking, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Keep organizational charts, position-control files, vacancy tallies, and headcount tracking up to date
Update job descriptions and issue revisions as needed
Coordinate and oversee recruiting activities for designated roles
Execute onboarding processes and manage new hire paperwork
Oversee performance review cycles and maintain employee records
Schedule employee training and monitor certifications and training histories
Perform exit interviews and maintain turnover metrics and retention reports
Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
Process payroll transactions, audit time records, and track paid time off
Maintain personnel files, document retention schedules, and other employee records
Support employee relations communications and related documentation
Maintain HRIS data and generate dashboards, KPIs, and workforce reports
Keep compliance records and assist with audits and regulatory filings
Coordinate workers’ compensation paperwork and carrier communications

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, or as an HR Generalist
Working knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration and HRIS systems
Understanding of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and personnel record management
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience maintaining employee records, reports and HR documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
