Job Description

Temporary part-time Human Resources/Payroll Assistant in the Superintendent's Office supports HR and payroll tasks, onboarding, and related administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Support HR and payroll functions with accuracy and discretion
Coordinate onboarding processes for new staff and related vendors
Apply knowledge of the Family Medical Leave Act and workers' compensation as needed
Collaborate closely with all district staff across departments
Support payroll procedures and associated administrative tasks
Manage filing tasks and undertake other duties as required
Associates Degree preferred but not required
Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills

Requirements

Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) required
Ability to commute to Augusta, ME 04330 (Required)

Hours: 25 hours per week

Job Description

Talent Acquisition Partner for Aeronautics in Augusta, ME, a hybrid role with compensation at USD 32 to 38 per hour and ownership of the full lifecycle recruiting for high-quality technical talent.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to offer, including screening, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, selection, and offer administration.
Serve as the trusted recruiting partner and primary point of contact for assigned business leaders, guiding interviewing, candidate assessment, and hiring decisions.
Facilitate strategy sessions to define role scope, requirements, and hiring timelines.
Educate hiring managers on market conditions, talent availability, competitive pay, and data-driven expectations.
Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics for talent acquisition and leadership teams.
Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, and relationship-building.
Evaluate candidates for technical capability, alignment with NG values, and mission fit.
Ensure recruiting activities comply with standards and TA processes, maintaining accurate requisition and candidate data in the ATS.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of Talent Acquisition experience, or at least 6 years of Talent Acquisition experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience recruiting technical talent across engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or non-technical disciplines (business, production, operations, supply chain).
Experience using Workday Recruiting, Eightfold, or similar ATS platforms.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
