Job Description

Libra Staffing Inc is seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager in Bellflower, California. Responsibilities

Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes and maintain personnel files
Address employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and document outcomes
Manage corrective actions, issue written warnings, and prepare termination paperwork
Maintain strict confidentiality for all employee and company matters
Assist employees with HR inquiries about policies, benefits, payroll, and leaves
Ensure compliance with California labor laws and internal policies
Oversee I-9 and E-Verify processes and onboarding documentation completion
Support leave administration including CFRA, FMLA, ADA interactive process coordination, and paid sick leave compliance
Maintain OSHA and workplace safety documentation
Support workers’ compensation claim administration and communication
Collaborate with recruiters, operations, payroll, and client management teams
Help maintain accurate records within HRIS/ATS systems
Support multi-location and multi-state staffing operations
Assist with audits, reporting, and internal compliance initiatives
Maintain organized digital HR records
Track deadlines, expirations, trainings, and compliance requirements
Draft professional HR correspondence and employee communications
Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency

Requirements

Education: Associate degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years in human resources; 3 years in HR preferred
Languages: Spanish and English required
Location and commute: Onsite in Bellflower, CA; Artesia, CA 90701 required to commute
Technologies: Experience with Avionté, Microsoft Office, and HRIS/ATS systems
