Job Description

What we offer

Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year. This on-site role is based in Carthage, NY and centers on directing HR duties such as payroll liaison, benefits coordination, recruitment, compliance, and staff supervision within a 90-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Develop precise schedules for the nursing team to ensure coverage and efficiency.
Serve as the payroll liaison to address timecard issues between the Payroll Department and the facility.
Coordinate all employee benefits by acting as the liaison between the Payroll Department and the Benefits Administrator.
Oversee front desk operations and personnel in all aspects.
Ensure compliance with the Department of Labor and Department of Health for all new hires, including time-clock enrollment, background checks, reference checks, and license verification.
Lead recruitment efforts by identifying open positions, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
Participate in facility management meetings as required.
Support team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
Administer HR duties such as disciplinary actions (in collaboration with department heads), payroll status changes, terminations, resignations, and retirements.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications

Prior experience in an HR or staffing setting.
HR background or degree strongly preferred.
Knowledge of human resource administration.
Inter-personal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
Excellent communication skills.
