Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Greenville is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all people operations onsite in Greenville, Mississippi. This role partners with facility leadership to align workforce strategies with policy, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement standards, while fostering a positive and productive work environment for a diverse staff. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on HR leadership, a focus on development, and a commitment to compliant, people-centered operations.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all human resources functions within the facility.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of time and attendance for every employee.
- Identify training and retraining needs and refer staff to appropriate resources.
- Recommend and administer Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when employees fail to meet organizational policies or standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Serve as a resource to leadership and department managers on HR-related matters.
- Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies, practices, and procedures that support organizational growth.
- Oversee staffing, employee relations, orientation, professional development, and compensation and benefits administration.
- Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
- Utilize effective communication skills while respecting age, disability, and cultural diversity.
- Provide assistance and support during emergency response situations, as appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources (preferred).
