Full time Employee Relations Generalist HR

Job Description

This on-site HR Generalist position supports the Director of HR by covering employee relations, training and development, HR projects, compliance, and operational HR in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee and audit bi-weekly hourly payroll processing.
Handle bi-weekly salary payroll processing.
Partner with the Director of HR and the operations team to design and implement training and development programs and retention initiatives.
Collaborate with the Director of HR to mentor HR staff, providing guidance and knowledge sharing to support team growth.
Work with operations to address employee relations matters, including investigations; assist with counseling and escalate complex issues to the Director of HR as needed.
Lead HR related projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
Coordinate with the Director of HR to review, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Contribute to strategic planning and achievement of departmental goals in partnership with the Director of HR.
Serve as the subject matter expert for Paycor and other HRIS systems.
Support initiatives that foster a positive employee engagement and culture.
Provide backup support for employee benefits enrollment.
Support a culture of openness and integrity through fair associate relations practices and clear communication.
Assist in the completion of required reports such as ACA, FAS, and EEOC.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience with payroll processing, with Paycor HRIS strongly preferred.
Experience handling complex employee relations matters.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
