Job Description

Huntington Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram Hyundai Genesis is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations onsite in Huntington, NY. This role covers payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations from onboarding through offboarding, offering a salary range of USD 60,000 to 80,000 per year. Responsibilities

Process and administer payroll accurately and on schedule.
Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave of absence, and related employee support.
Oversee timekeeping and attendance management systems.
Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management on workplace policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Ensure accurate employee records, documentation, and audit readiness.
Support policy development, implementation, and communication across the organization.
Assist with HR reporting, compliance tracking, and special projects as needed.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in recordkeeping, documentation, and compliance management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and other business applications; BambooHR experience preferred.
Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices.
Experience maintaining confidential employee information and managing sensitive matters with professionalism.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, reports, and regulatory requirements while ensuring consistency and compliance.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
