Job Description
Huntington Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram Hyundai Genesis is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations onsite in Huntington, NY. This role covers payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations from onboarding through offboarding, offering a salary range of USD 60,000 to 80,000 per year. The position emphasizes strong organization, adherence to HR best practices, and knowledge of employment law, within a culture that values trust, integrity, and community involvement.

Responsibilities
- Process and administer payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave of absence, and related employee support.
- Oversee timekeeping and attendance management systems.
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management on workplace policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure accurate employee records, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Support policy development, implementation, and communication across the organization.
- Assist with HR reporting, compliance tracking, and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in recordkeeping, documentation, and compliance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and other business applications; BambooHR experience preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Experience maintaining confidential employee information and managing sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, reports, and regulatory requirements while ensuring consistency and compliance.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
