Job Description

Agri Center in Hutchinson, Kansas is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, improve efficiency, and uphold compliance across the organization. This onsite role focuses on full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, payroll assistance, and employee relations within a hands-on HR team.

Responsibilities

Oversees the complete recruitment lifecycle, from posting roles and screening resumes to coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and verifying work eligibility
Guides new hire onboarding and orientation and organizes ongoing training and development initiatives
Assists with payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Responds to employee inquiries, investigates concerns, and supports professional conflict resolution in a consistent manner
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; assists with maintaining and updating HR policies and employee handbooks
Supports the performance review process by tracking goals, maintaining documentation, and assisting with corrective and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy
Performs additional duties as needed to sustain HR operations

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of HR experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and effectively utilize HRIS and other business systems
High attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization
Prior work experience in a dealership is preferred but not required
