At The Glenmore Distillery, part of the Sazerac Company, the onsite Human Resource Generalist plays a central role in supporting HR across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and development while helping to maintain a positive workplace culture in Owensboro, KY. This full-time, onsite position offers flexible start times and focuses on delivering practical HR solutions to a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities
- Support employee and labor relations activities, including grievance administration, workplace investigations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for hourly and salaried employees.
- Partner with supervisors on performance management, attendance administration, corrective actions, and employee relations matters.
- Administer payroll, benefits, leave of absence programs, workers’ compensation claims, and employee recordkeeping while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Develop and support training initiatives, prepare HR reports, and analyze workforce metrics to drive engagement, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and quickly learn new systems and processes
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
