At The Glenmore Distillery, part of the Sazerac Company, the onsite Human Resource Generalist plays a central role in supporting HR across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and development while helping to maintain a positive workplace culture in Owensboro, KY. This full-time, onsite position offers flexible start times and focuses on delivering practical HR solutions to a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

Support employee and labor relations activities, including grievance administration, workplace investigations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for hourly and salaried employees.
Partner with supervisors on performance management, attendance administration, corrective actions, and employee relations matters.
Administer payroll, benefits, leave of absence programs, workers’ compensation claims, and employee recordkeeping while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Develop and support training initiatives, prepare HR reports, and analyze workforce metrics to drive engagement, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
3+ years of relevant HR experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and quickly learn new systems and processes
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
