Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations across the teammate lifecycle, including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, performance management, leave administration, terminations, and legal compliance.
- Assist in recruitment efforts as needed, coordinating requests, optimizing systems, sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating candidate placement.
- Prepare new hire offer documents and handle pre-employment and post-offer requirements; communicate with hiring leaders and candidates.
- Coordinate the new teammate’s first day orientation and prepare required documents.
- Support engagement throughout the teammate lifecycle.
- Collaborate with team members to address teammate inquiries.
- Participate in learning sessions that promote professional development for teammates and team leaders.
- Ensure proper coding for HRIS data management related to teammate records, including employment status, compensation, and compliance.
- Apply working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws (FLSA, FMLA/PFL, ADAAA, EEOC, HIPAA, etc.).
- Support profit centers by following best practices for file maintenance, data retention, and employment notices.
- Build a network of enterprise-wide peers and collaborate on best practices.
- Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude within the department, the region, and profit centers.
- Strive to achieve or exceed internal performance standards.
- Participate in training opportunities to stay current on industry information, new product development, legislation, insurance programs, and technology.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Work experience in an office or customer service environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of use of business equipment
