Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations across the teammate lifecycle, including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, performance management, leave administration, terminations, and legal compliance.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts as needed, coordinating requests, optimizing systems, sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating candidate placement.
  • Prepare new hire offer documents and handle pre-employment and post-offer requirements; communicate with hiring leaders and candidates.
  • Coordinate the new teammate’s first day orientation and prepare required documents.
  • Support engagement throughout the teammate lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with team members to address teammate inquiries.
  • Participate in learning sessions that promote professional development for teammates and team leaders.
  • Ensure proper coding for HRIS data management related to teammate records, including employment status, compensation, and compliance.
  • Apply working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws (FLSA, FMLA/PFL, ADAAA, EEOC, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Support profit centers by following best practices for file maintenance, data retention, and employment notices.
  • Build a network of enterprise-wide peers and collaborate on best practices.
  • Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude within the department, the region, and profit centers.
  • Strive to achieve or exceed internal performance standards.
  • Participate in training opportunities to stay current on industry information, new product development, legislation, insurance programs, and technology.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Work experience in an office or customer service environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of use of business equipment
