Job Description

Himmel Hospitality Group offers an onsite Human Resources Coordinator role in Boston, MA, supporting day-to-day HR operations across all HHG restaurants. Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for staff inquiries on policies, benefits, payroll, and scheduling
Coordinate recruiting logistics, including job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
Lead the new hire onboarding process, handling I-9 and tax forms, benefits enrollment, ServSafe verification, and orientation
Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data; assist with compliance audits
Process status changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding documentation
Support payroll, benefits administration, and leave-of-absence processes
Track certifications and training; assist with investigations and employee relations matters
Generate HR metrics and represent HHG at recruiting events

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of recruiting or HR management experience
Bachelor's degree is required
Working knowledge of Massachusetts and federal employment law
Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office 365
Willingness to travel between Boston-area HHG restaurants
