Job Description
Himmel Hospitality Group offers an onsite Human Resources Coordinator role in Boston, MA, supporting day-to-day HR operations across all HHG restaurants. The position provides a competitive salary of USD 55,000 to 65,000 per year, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to partner with restaurant leadership to shape a positive employee experience from recruiting and onboarding through the lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff inquiries on policies, benefits, payroll, and scheduling
- Coordinate recruiting logistics, including job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Lead the new hire onboarding process, handling I-9 and tax forms, benefits enrollment, ServSafe verification, and orientation
- Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data; assist with compliance audits
- Process status changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding documentation
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and leave-of-absence processes
- Track certifications and training; assist with investigations and employee relations matters
- Generate HR metrics and represent HHG at recruiting events
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting or HR management experience
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Working knowledge of Massachusetts and federal employment law
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office 365
- Willingness to travel between Boston-area HHG restaurants
