Job Description

HR Manager (1st Shift) at GXO Logistics, onsite in Kansas City, MO, with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Administer HR policies and programs to ensure compliance across staffing and recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, time and attendance record keeping, and personnel records administration.
Collaborate with plant operations and the HR team to foster an open door climate.
Ensure that employee and business strategies translate into excellent customer service.
Manage all aspects of the HR function, including administration, legal compliance, policy enforcement, benefits, compensation, hiring, retention, and termination.
Supervise HR staff.
Keep senior management and operations informed of internal and external HR developments that may impact overall effectiveness.
Provide HR reports to upper management as requested.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience.
Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS, and timekeeping systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Proven track record with increasing levels of responsibility in the HR field.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
