Job Description

At Turner Mining Group's on-site Bagdad, Arizona location, the Human Resource Generalist I supports HR operations, regulatory compliance, workforce planning, employee relations, and investigations for the client. Working closely with site HR and Operations leadership, this role provides practical HR guidance and helps drive change and improvement initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

Partner with site HR and Operations leadership to advise on HR and labor regulatory matters.
Help implement HR goals, processes, practices, and systems to strengthen organizational and people capability, including staffing, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
Support employment and compliance investigations under the direction of the HR team.
Assist with workforce planning and forecasting in alignment with site and corporate HR processes and goals.
Deliver cost-effective HR solutions that enable attracting and retaining the required skills.
Support HR projects and improvement initiatives directed by leadership, facilitating change management, engagement, coaching, and stakeholder advisement.
Maintain privacy and security of employee personnel records, including compensation information.
Represent the company in arbitration, appeals boards, and open-door processes to resolve employee disputes.
Undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
High School Diploma/GED and four years of professional HR experience
Solid understanding of core HR areas, including staffing, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, leadership development, and training
Ability to make tough decisions and convey difficult messages professionally, with poise and diplomacy, while standing by decisions
Consultative and collaborative approach
Confident written and verbal communication skills, effective across all levels of the organization
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
High level of integrity and strict confidentiality
Leadership qualities such as accountability, adaptability, motivation, confidence, developing others, and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture with a service orientation
