Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator role supports core HR operations and employee experience across recruitment, onboarding, records management, and ongoing compliance. This remote position is focused on serving applicants based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Support recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries
Help with payroll-related documentation and support personnel change processes
Track employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements
Prepare HR reports and maintain HR databases
Answer employee questions related to company policies and procedures
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Required Qualifications

Legally authorized to work and reside in the United States
Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Administration, or a related field preferred
Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HR software systems
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Reliable computer, internet connection, and dedicated workspace

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Experience working in a remote environment

Compensation

Job Description

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor for workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational change initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Five or more years of progressive HR experience; healthcare, home care, or senior living experience is highly desirable
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information discreetly

Location & Travel

This position is based in Basking Ridge, NJ, onsite, with regular travel to Freehold, NJ, Whiting, NJ, and other regional locations as needed.
