Job Description

HR Generalist at JCSI in Danville, IL (onsite) responsible for day-to-day HR operations in a global manufacturing facility with a clear path to HR leadership, salary USD 65,000 - 75,000 per year, plus up to a 10% annual performance bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

Primary HR resource supporting daily plant operations
Advise leadership on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Collaborate with leadership to develop workplace policies and HR best practices
Assist with workers' compensation, leave administration, and HR compliance initiatives
Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Utilize HRIS platforms and Excel to maintain accurate employee records and reporting
Foster a positive workplace culture through regular engagement with employees across departments
Spend substantial time on the production floor supporting managers and staff

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
Minimum four years of progressive HR experience
Solid understanding of employment law, employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred
Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or similar systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Onsite work capability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
