Job Description

Unity HR Staffing is hiring a Staffing Recruiter / Office Assistant to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. This onsite role supports staffing and day-to-day office operations, including coordinating candidates and delivering payroll checks to client companies. The position runs Monday through Friday and offers $16.50 to $17.00 per hour.

What you’ll do

Post job openings on Indeed, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
Answer candidate inquiries by phone, message, and other communications.
Recruit employees for a range of job positions.
Enter new candidates into the system and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
Follow up with candidates and confirm their availability for work.
Organize and maintain employee information and records.
Deliver payroll checks to client companies.
Support general administrative duties and office operations.

What we’re looking for

Must be fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
Proficiency with computers, email, and administrative systems.
Previous experience in recruiting or customer service, preferably in a staffing agency.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license for payroll check deliveries.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
A professional, dependable, punctual, and proactive work approach.

Strong expertise in employment law, including FMLA, OSHA, workers' compensation procedures, and HR compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated supervisory ability to lead teams effectively while juggling multiple projects concurrently.
Bilingual communication skills are essential; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and facilitating trainings.
Solid data analysis skills using Excel or HR analytics tools to inform strategic decisions.
