Overview

Join our team as a Human Resources Specialist - Accounting Assistant. The role supports accounting and HR functions with precision, contributing to workforce management, benefits administration, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. This position aims to foster a positive workplace environment and streamline HR and accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Manage human capital management systems to ensure accurate data entry, updates, and reporting.
Support payroll processing using ADP, verifying employee hours, benefits deductions, and wage calculations.
Coordinate onboarding to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization’s culture and policies.
Contribute to talent acquisition efforts.
Support benefits administration and enrollment.
Assist with accounts receivable, overseeing credit card purchases and accounts payable for company credit cards.

Requirements

Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within HR environments.
Strong knowledge of HR sourcing strategies and employee relations practices.
Familiarity with payroll systems, with experience in benefits administration and data collection activities.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
A background in employment and labor law compliance and HR analytics will be advantageous for success in this role.
A background in general cost accounting would be advantageous.
