Job Description

SilverPoint Senior Living, based in New Braunfels, Texas, is seeking a strategic Vice President of Human Resources to shape and execute HR initiatives across the organization. This executive role focuses on talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement to support operational excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement broad HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing talent acquisition, employee relations, and workforce planning.
Steer the recruitment approach by designing effective processes and leveraging HR systems such as Indeed and Paycom to attract top talent.
Oversee onboarding programs, training and development initiatives, and performance management systems to enhance employee engagement and growth.
Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting misconduct investigations, and ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws including FMLA, OSHA, and EEO regulations.
Lead HR teams responsible for benefits administration, payroll processing using platforms like Paycom or Indeed, and HRIS data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Drive organizational design improvements and process enhancements to optimize human capital management practices across the organization.
Lead regulatory compliance management efforts related to workers' compensation, employment law in talent management, and HR legal compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

7+ years experience in Human Resources required.
5+ years experience in organizational development, performance management or HR management.
5+ years payroll processing experience.
5+ years hands-on experience with HR analytics tools and data analysis skills to inform strategic decisions; experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycom.
Computer literacy and working knowledge of common office machines.

Job Description

The Recruiter I - Talent Acquisition supports CHRISTUS Health by managing the full lifecycle recruitment for hospital and healthcare professionals within a corporate environment, handling sourcing, screening, ATS processing, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding, while leveraging networking and outreach to identify qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Owns the end-to-end recruitment process while safeguarding a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Conducts proactive sourcing across multiple channels, including cold calling, ATS searches, LinkedIn, social media, and various job boards, complemented by networking efforts.
Drives and manages the recruiting workflow for both applicants and hiring managers, sustaining direct relationships throughout.
Performs in-depth telephone assessments and thorough interviews with work history reviews to evaluate skills, experience, interest, and availability.
Maintains a favorable impression of CHRISTUS Health by staying informed about products, corporate history, and benefits.
Collaborates with hiring managers to schedule interviews and provide scheduling support.
Executes needs analysis for new requisitions to clearly understand job requirements.
Negotiates offer package details with candidates.
Communicates recruiting efforts and strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Registers regular rounding meetings with hiring managers to review progress and pipelines.
Meets or exceeds Talent Acquisition service level agreement timeframes.
Extracts, filters, navigates, and communicates data from recruitment reports in Power BI while proactively auditing for data integrity.
Represents CHRISTUS values of dignity, excellence, stewardship, and compassion within the community as part of the mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred
0-2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Previous HR or recruiting support experience preferred
Strong communicator who can present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings to candidates and Hiring Managers
Ability to manage a full desk and requisition load
High degree of organization and ability to prioritize tasks
Impeccable customer relations skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
HR Certification a plus
