Job Description

The Recruiter I - Talent Acquisition supports CHRISTUS Health by managing the full lifecycle recruitment for hospital and healthcare professionals within a corporate environment, handling sourcing, screening, ATS processing, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding, while leveraging networking and outreach to identify qualified candidates.

New Braunfels, TX (onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Owns the end-to-end recruitment process while safeguarding a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conducts proactive sourcing across multiple channels, including cold calling, ATS searches, LinkedIn, social media, and various job boards, complemented by networking efforts.
  • Drives and manages the recruiting workflow for both applicants and hiring managers, sustaining direct relationships throughout.
  • Performs in-depth telephone assessments and thorough interviews with work history reviews to evaluate skills, experience, interest, and availability.
  • Maintains a favorable impression of CHRISTUS Health by staying informed about products, corporate history, and benefits.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to schedule interviews and provide scheduling support.
  • Executes needs analysis for new requisitions to clearly understand job requirements.
  • Negotiates offer package details with candidates.
  • Communicates recruiting efforts and strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Registers regular rounding meetings with hiring managers to review progress and pipelines.
  • Meets or exceeds Talent Acquisition service level agreement timeframes.
  • Extracts, filters, navigates, and communicates data from recruitment reports in Power BI while proactively auditing for data integrity.
  • Represents CHRISTUS values of dignity, excellence, stewardship, and compassion within the community as part of the mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 0-2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Previous HR or recruiting support experience preferred
  • Strong communicator who can present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings to candidates and Hiring Managers
  • Ability to manage a full desk and requisition load
  • High degree of organization and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Impeccable customer relations skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • HR Certification a plus
