This onsite Human Resources Manager role is based in Cedar Rapids, IA, with a salary range of USD 65,000 – 85,000 per year. The position reports to company leadership, includes occasional travel, and may align with locations in Oklahoma City, OK or Marion, IA as noted in the role overview. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of HR experience are required to be considered.

Responsibilities

Manage daily HR operations and employee relations activities
Oversee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs
Prepare and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner with the Finance team
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and compensation processes
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Support performance management, evaluations, and employee development initiatives
Partner with leadership on key projects, planning, and organizational needs
Support HR reporting, metrics, and compliance documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience required
Prior experience in recruiting, employee relations, and payroll administration preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office preferred
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
