Human Resources Manager
Job Description

This onsite Human Resources Manager role is based in Cedar Rapids, IA, with a salary range of USD 65,000 – 85,000 per year. The position reports to company leadership, includes occasional travel, and may align with locations in Oklahoma City, OK or Marion, IA as noted in the role overview. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of HR experience are required to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR operations and employee relations activities
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Prepare and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner with the Finance team
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and compensation processes
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support performance management, evaluations, and employee development initiatives
- Partner with leadership on key projects, planning, and organizational needs
- Support HR reporting, metrics, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience required
- Prior experience in recruiting, employee relations, and payroll administration preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
