Job Description

South Texas Health System is seeking a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for qualified candidates from the local community as well as other parts of the United States. In this role, you will also assist with the development of hospital programs and services designed to strengthen recruitment outcomes, with work that includes planning, coordination, market research, negotiation, and execution of recruitment activities.

Role focus

Recruit qualified candidates from the community and other parts of the US.
Support the development of hospital programs and services that help enable recruitment.
Contribute to recruitment planning, coordination, market research, negotiation, and implementation of recruitment activities.

Requirements

Minimum two years of Human Resources experience required, with a preference for previous experience in healthcare.
Excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of current computer software.
Travel required, including local, statewide, and within the United States.
Demonstrate commitment to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct by following all policies and procedures, adhering to the Code of Conduct, attending required training, and immediately reporting any suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Education / licensure

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, or
5 years of Human Resources recruitment experience with an Associate’s degree in a related field, or
8 years of Human Resources with 4 years of solid recruitment in a Healthcare setting, considered in lieu of a degree.

Job Description

Reveille Trucking, Inc. is hiring an experienced Driver Recruiter in Edinburg, TX (hybrid) to help strengthen our CDL workforce. This role focuses on building relationships and improving hiring outcomes from first contact through orientation, so we can keep trucks staffed with qualified CDL Class A drivers. You will partner closely with operations to understand hiring needs and take action to fill them.

What you’ll do

Recruit and hire qualified CDL Class A drivers
Manage applicants from first contact through orientation
Advertise openings on Indeed, Facebook, Craigslist, and other recruiting platforms
Conduct phone interviews and complete pre-screens
Maintain frequent two-way communication with prospective drivers using calls, text, and email
Build and maintain relationships with CDL schools, referral sources, and industry contacts
Track recruiting metrics and use them to continuously improve hiring results
Work closely with operations to stay aligned on current hiring needs

Previous recruiting experience, with transportation industry preferred
Excellent communication and sales skills
Self-motivated mindset and ability to work independently

Compensation and earnings

You’ll receive a competitive base salary with performance bonuses tied to driver hires and retention. There is also opportunity for significant earnings based on results. Pay range: $45,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year.
