Recruiter

South Texas Health System is seeking a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for qualified candidates from the local community as well as other parts of the United States. In this role, you will also assist with the development of hospital programs and services designed to strengthen recruitment outcomes, with work that includes planning, coordination, market research, negotiation, and execution of recruitment activities.

Role focus

• Recruit qualified candidates from the community and other parts of the US.
• Support the development of hospital programs and services that help enable recruitment.
• Contribute to recruitment planning, coordination, market research, negotiation, and implementation of recruitment activities.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of Human Resources experience required, with a preference for previous experience in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of current computer software.
• Travel required, including local, statewide, and within the United States.
• Demonstrate commitment to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct by following all policies and procedures, adhering to the Code of Conduct, attending required training, and immediately reporting any suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Education / licensure

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, or
• 5 years of Human Resources recruitment experience with an Associate’s degree in a related field, or
• 8 years of Human Resources with 4 years of solid recruitment in a Healthcare setting, considered in lieu of a degree.
