Job Description

Root Staffing is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to partner with Hiring Managers and the HR team to design and drive recruitment strategies that align with the business. This onsite, contract role in Huntington Beach will serve as the first point of contact for external and internal talent, helping to build a strong, scalable workforce.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle to support the business hiring needs.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand needs, develop and execute recruitment strategies, and support hiring decisions.
Apply strategic and creative approaches to sourcing and attracting top talent.
Lead full-cycle retail recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, posting positions, and screening talent.
Analyze recruiting metrics to assess strategy effectiveness and drive process improvements.
Support workforce planning and the recruiting projection process for the organization.
Provide guidance to hiring managers on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and selection.
Deliver high-quality customer service while managing high-volume frontline and non-exempt roles, field-exempt supervisors, and corporate positions, along with talent pipeline development.
Potentially support early talent and on-campus TA strategies.
Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 0–1 years of related experience, or a High School Diploma with 5+ years of related experience.
Experience in high-volume, frontline full-cycle recruiting.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or other HRIS systems.
Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of staffing and recruitment initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
Strong relationship management and influencing skills with a proven ability to build connections.
Customer-service orientation with the ability to prioritize initiatives and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Solid technical skills, including in-depth knowledge of applicant tracking technology and Microsoft applications; familiarity with social networking best practices; ability to leverage technology to attract candidates and optimize operations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
