Job Description

Vista Trans is hiring a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and coordinate the hiring of qualified CDL drivers for its growing driver team.

Responsibilities

Source qualified CDL drivers using job boards, social media, referrals, and industry platforms
Build and maintain a pipeline of driver candidates
Post, manage, and update job listings to attract top talent
Review applications to evaluate qualifications, experience, and endorsements
Conduct phone screens and pre-qualify candidates
Verify CDL licenses, driving records, and other required credentials
Partner with dispatch and operations to understand current hiring needs
Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps in the hiring process
Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process
Ensure recruiting activities comply with DOT regulations and company standards
Keep accurate records of candidates, hiring activity, and driver documentation

Requirements

1+ year of experience
Previous recruiting experience, with trucking or logistics industry experience preferred
Knowledge of CDL requirements and DOT regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to evaluate candidates and provide sound hiring recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms
Experience using social media and online sourcing tools
Reliable commute to Huntley, IL on a Monday-to-Friday schedule
