Pay Range: $25.61 - $26.61 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist management and the leadership team in addressing human resources issues.
  • Support internal and external transfer requests and related procedures.
  • Guide managers and supervisors through hiring processes and related matters.
  • Coordinate and perform applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
  • Maintain applicant flow and logs for drug screens, orientations, and transfer requests.
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter data into the Human Resources Information System.
  • Assist with new employee orientation.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
  • Keep accurate employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
  • Support the processing and maintenance of payroll records in line with policies and procedures as needed.
  • Inform HR management of employee relations issues within the division or property.
  • Create and maintain filing systems and generate HR data reports as required.
  • Answer phones and record messages; prepare and type office correspondence using a computer.
  • Serve as an HR subject matter expert and participate on project teams.
  • Train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies, and information systems.

  • Maintain filing systems and generate HR data reports as needed.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year.
  • Supervisory Experience: None.
  • License or Certification: None.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None.

Physical Requirements

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
