Responsibilities
- Assist management and the leadership team in addressing human resources issues.
- Support internal and external transfer requests and related procedures.
- Guide managers and supervisors through hiring processes and related matters.
- Coordinate and perform applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
- Maintain applicant flow and logs for drug screens, orientations, and transfer requests.
- Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter data into the Human Resources Information System.
- Assist with new employee orientation.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
- Keep accurate employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Support the processing and maintenance of payroll records in line with policies and procedures as needed.
- Inform HR management of employee relations issues within the division or property.
- Create and maintain filing systems and generate HR data reports as required.
- Answer phones and record messages; prepare and type office correspondence using a computer.
- Serve as an HR subject matter expert and participate on project teams.
- Train new hires on HR processes, programs, policies, and information systems.

- Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately; handle telephone etiquette appropriately.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships; collaborate to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Maintain filing systems and generate HR data reports as needed.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year.
- Supervisory Experience: None.
- License or Certification: None.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None.
Physical Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
